While I was sitting in the grass taking photos of runners and walkers, one woman yelled out, “Hey! Are you still having fun?!” I told her of course - aren’t you?! I love it. With the camera as a social crutch, I get to bounce around and banter with strangers. I get to take pictures of dogs! I get to wait for the moment someone genuinely laughs in conversation. I also get to eat loaded fries. I love seeing individuals and this community through a camera lens.
It’s also lovely to listen to music while I edit for a change.
